Insurance included

• Third-party liability insurance to legal standards: property damage and injury covered up to €50,000.
• Legal assistance for defence and claims: a lawyer is included in the policy.
• Breakdown assistance: repair on the spot or recovery to a garage; a replacement car if the delay exceeds 4 hours.
• Accidents: a replacement car so your trip continues.
• Theft, fire, glass and hail damage: fully covered by the policy.
• Cleaning after an accident: included (for example oil or debris).
• Driver and passengers: medical costs covered; permanent disability and death covered up to €18,000 for the driver and €7,500 for passengers.
• The daily rate includes both rental and insurance; no extra insurance charges are added.

Excess

• Damage to the vehicle through your own fault: €300 excess. Anything above that is paid by the insurer.
• Damage with no third party involved (parking damage, for example): €300 excess.
• No deposit needed: the €300 excess is only settled afterwards, if it applies at all.
• If you are not liable, the other party pays for the damage and no excess is due.

What to expect

• No credit card hold at pick-up; we only ask for your driving licence and booking confirmation.
• Damage handling is covered by the package, unless there is reckless driving or a breach of contract.
• A clear fuel arrangement: you return the car at the same level as you received it.

When we get in touch

• If the fuel level differs or in case of traffic fines under local regulations.
• If extra cleaning is needed (for example after smoking in the car).
• When you want to extend: we arrange it straight away by phone or WhatsApp.
